'Formula 1' to end the infight: Navjot Sidhu as Punjab's Congress Chief
On thursday afternoon the party decided to quell the intensified fighting that has seriously endangered its efforts for next year's Election. The party had been noticing the long-running feud between chief minister Amarinder Singh and Navjot Sidhu.
As a part of this Formula-1 campaign, overhauling of Conceit of ministers is also expected, with Charanjit Channi And Gurpreet Kangar are likely to be sacked. sonia Gandhi's decision to choose a minister of the Dalit community was one of the past month's demands raised by the MLA's.
Amid the ongoing crisis in the party, the party had decided to name Navjot Singh Sidhu as the punjab Pradesh congress Committee (PPCC) chief, replacing Mr.Sunil. sonia gandhi, leader of the congress party, has also decided upon the members of the team with Mr.Navjot Sidhu. The official declaration is expected shortly.
On noticing the steps taken by the party head to resolve the feud, Mr.Sidhu said he would get along with the decision of the party head. The 3-member committee was formed to put an end to the feud.
The bickers began in the 2017 election when the posting of deputy cm for Mr.Sidhu was scuttled by Mr. Amarinder Singh. Apparently, Mr. Navjot became a member of the council in Amarinder Singh's Government. But after two years he detached from party affairs entirely. He instead chose to take the less-traveled path by targeting the cm, which became a hard-to-ignore problem in Punjab.Punjab's Grand Rebels come together! Does feud remain between them?
