Afghan President Ashraf Ghani has explained that all the allegations that I fled to
tajikistan by helicopter with a box of money aout of fear for the Taliban are entirely false and fake accusations. The Taliban have seized control of
afghanistan as soon as the
united states announced its withdrawal of Military troops from Afghanistan.
Confirming the arrival of the Taliban in Kabul, President Ashraf Ghani has reportedly fled the country and taken refuge in
tajikistan and Russia's Sputnik site also confirmed the reports that the Afghan President had taken a lot of money in several boxes when he fled away. Now, Ashraf her released a video on
facebook and he said, "There was the oscillation of whether to leave the armed Taliban or the beloved country that had saved my life for the past 21 years.
But the Taliban militants are holding the whole country at their gunpoint. They cannot win the hearts and minds of the
people with such threats and guns. If I don't leave, a lot of
people will be killed and more blood will be shed in
afghanistan and it would be the blood of innocent people. I am not in
tajikistan as per reports and speculations and I am right now in the United Arab Emirates. Such baseless allegations are made to destroy my political career and my character reputation. I am in talks about returning to
afghanistan and will be returning to the country soon and I will set things straight at the earliest."
