Will Telengana become India's First Fully Vaccinated State ?
Right now in India, a huge race is going on between all the states as someone is targeting to be India's First Fully Vaccinated State and telangana State is ensuring to make it happen and they have claimed it would be done in another 10 to 15 days time and the state will become India's first state to get completely vaccinated.
Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, health Secretary Rizvi, ghmc Commissioner lokesh Kumar, and Collectors attended a workshop regarding the vaccination drive and they requested everyone to work in coordination to make the entire state 100% vaccinated and already the ghmc workers are asked to take a survey on every single household and ensure that everyone got vaccinated at least with a single shot.
The exercise is right now carried out as a mission and they have decided to complete this vaccination campaign by two weeks and make telangana State a completely vaccinated state for those who are above 18 years of age with at least a single shot of vaccine. The health Secretary revealed that so far 1.65 Crores of vaccine have been administered and 56% have got at least one dose while 34% have already received both the doses and they will ramp up the drive and ensure 100% vaccination in another two weeks.
