SC Slams Centre Regarding NEET

On Monday, the sc issued a statement reminding the gov't that if it is not happy with last-minute modifications to the NEET SSE 2021 curriculum, it may reject the government's proposed arrangements. According to media sources, the supreme court stated that “these young physicians will not be left in the disposal of some insensitive bureaucrats.”
The sc bench ordered the Centre to convene with the remaining two authorities to finalise their judgement within a week. “Better have some compelling arguments, because if we aren't pleased, we shall pass structures,” it stated. The sc defended the applicants, saying, "Don't use these young doctors like footballs in a power game." 41 postgraduate doctors lodged a petition before the supreme court challenging last-minute modifications to the curriculum made after the exam notice was released.
During the hearing, the NBE stated that it is well conscious of the risks that students experience and therefore there are valid grounds for changing the NEET SSE 2021 syllabus. It also stated that it will respond to the candidates' petition by Monday. It further noted that the NEET SSE 2021 test is critical for doctors  and that since they completed the MBBS examination doesn't imply the Centre can impose last-minute curriculum modifications on them.
