Tamil Nadu's chief minister inspects the Dharmapuri Adiyamankottai police station. After wrapping up his event in the salem district yesterday, chief minister Stalin drove to Dharmapuri. chief minister Stalin performed a surprise visit to the Adiyamankottai police station, which is located near Dharmapuri, at 8.17 p.m. He also looked into the police station's public records and daily logs, as well as the actions, are done in response to the complaints the day before.
Later, after speaking with the police, the Chief remarked that giving the officers a weekend off and dropping the ETR reduction was beneficial. He also wanted to know how complaints are heard, as well as how complaints made to the chief minister discreetly are heard. When the chief minister enquired about the manner of inquiry for petitions brought to him and returned to the police stations for action, the police responded that such petitions would be evaluated by officials at the Inspector of police level and appropriate action would be taken.
After about 10 minutes of inspection, the chief minister convened at the police station grounds and inquired about the health of the policeman's family members before leaving. During the inspection, Adiyamankotta police Inspector Rangasamy, ADGP (Law and Order) Tamaraikkannan, Intelligence IG Davidson Devasirwadham, Western Region IG Sudhakar, salem DIG Maheshwari, Dharmapuri SB Kalaichelvan, and salem DIG Maheshwari were present.
