If the new state-level cooperative training centre is moved from Yercaud to another location, EPS has warned that the struggle will continue. "The AIADMK government has stated under Rule 110 that a state level Co-operative Training Center will be established by the tamil Nadu Co-operative Union to provide training to public servants working in the co-operative industry from the rank of Assistant to Additional Registrar, employees who work in co-operative societies, and other individual departments deputies," said AIADMK co-ordinator Edappadi Palanisamy in a recent statement.

As a result, on december 24, 2020, the Cooperative Department evaluated many locations across the State and established a new State Co-operative Training Center at a cost of approximately Rs. 61.80 crore. Published by the government. The tamil Nadu Public Works Department submitted a complete project report for the construction of a training centre building with all modern facilities at a cost of Rs. 39.60 lakhs in the first phase. The first instalment of 25 crore has been approved for the year 2020-21 for the development of a continuous training facility, with the Public Works Department overseeing the project.

Many public welfare initiatives already initiated and successfully run by the AIADMK government, such as mother two-wheeler and mother drinking water, would be completely phased out. Reducing the quantity of dishes and meals served at the mother restaurant; the DMK government has been imposing new criteria on the Taliban gold Scheme beneficiaries and has been unable to sustain such charity programmes.

I would like to inform the government on behalf of the people of salem District that if any further attempts are made to relocate the State Co-operative Training Center from Yercaud, the hill people of the area, as well as the people of salem District and the salem District AIADMK, will stage a large-scale protest.
