New Delhi: The bjp is likely to lose the assembly elections in 2022, said chidambaram on the results of by-elections in 13 states.
With the by-election results released yesterday, the congress party is very excited. With sonia gandhi as the caretaker leader, who too is not involved in serious politics, the victory of the congress is seen as an expression of a wave of discontent against the BJP.
In this context, senior congress leader p. chidambaram has released a tweet.
Comment by P. Chidambaram
Here is a thought-provoking analysis of the by-election results of 30 assembly constituencies. The bjp won 7 seats and the alliance 8 seats. congress won 8 seats. Non-BJP parties won 7 seats, of which only 1 seat was won by the BJP's indirect ally, the ysr Congress.
In the other 6 seats, anti-BJP parties won. The bjp has lost three assembly by-elections and one lok sabha by-election. In it, the bjp candidate has lost the deposit in an assembly by-election.
The situation in karnataka bjp rule is taking place in the state of Karnataka. There, the bjp has embraced defeat in Haveri, the home district of chief minister Basavaraj and the congress has won.
In Himachal Pradesh, the congress got 49 per cent, the bjp 28 per cent, in rajasthan the congress 37 per cent, the bjp 18 per cent, in maharashtra the congress 57 per cent and the bjp 36 per cent.
Political observers say that if congress fixes its internal problems, it is likely to win a landslide victory before the 2022 assembly elections.
