The monsoon has destroyed 942 roadways in Chennai. To repair it, the corporation has begun reconstruction work at a cost of Rs 1.50 crore. chennai Corporation issued a press release in this respect, stating that the corporation maintains 387 km of 471 bus lanes and 5,270 km of 34,640 internal roads. The Corporation's cleaning personnel performs numerous activities on a regular basis, such as cleaning and repairing damaged roadways.
