BJP holds a meeting to review Bypoll Election results
The BJP's National Working Committee will meet in delhi tomorrow to discuss the party's recent defeats in the country's 30 assembly districts and three lok sabha districts, as well as other important topics. The meeting, which will be hosted by bjp national leader JP Natta, will start tomorrow morning and last till the afternoon. At the conclusion of the meeting, prime minister Modi is due to speak.
Because the National Working Committee meeting will be held under the Corona guidelines, only bjp executives, Union ministers, and members of the National Executive Committee in delhi have been invited to attend. Senior executives and leaders from outside of delhi have been invited to attend through video conference.
In the recent by-elections for 30 assembly constituencies, the bjp lost 15 seats. It was also defeated in one lok sabha seat. The bjp suffered a crushing defeat, particularly in West bengal and Himachal Pradesh. With five state legislative elections coming up next year, it's probable that the National Working Committee will focus on this by-election defeat.
"We will shortly look at the BJP's electoral defeat in himachal pradesh and the reasons behind it," Anurag Thakur, the Union minister of Information and Broadcasting from himachal pradesh, said in an interview. Let's look into why people were so critical of the failure. By the time of the 2022 elections, we will have improved the BJP's position. Anurag Thakur, on the other hand, did not identify any specific reasons for the electoral loss.
