My ministers do not speak Hindi: Daring letter to Amit Shah!
The Mizo National Front leader, who continues to be a loyal partner of the nda alliance at the Center in the nda Northeastern states, wrote a letter to the Mizoram cm Center on the CS issue.
Union home minister amit shah has written a letter to Mizoram cm Joramthan regarding the appointment of the Chief Minister. He said his ministers did not understand hindi and some did not even know English.
"I have asked for the appointment of the current Additional Chief Secretary Jesse Ramathanga (Manipur cadre) as the next Chief Secretary after the retirement of Lalnunmavia Chicago, the Chief Secretary of the gujarat cadre. However, the Union home Ministry has appointed renu Sharma as the new Chief Secretary,".
On october 28, the Center appointed renu Sharma, a 1988 batch IAS cadre from the Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram Union Territory (AGMUT), as the new CS of Mizoram.
'Mizo people do not understand hindi much .. None of my cabinet ministers speaks hindi ... Some of them also have problems with the english language.
In this context, the Chief Secretary who is not familiar with the standard Mizo language will never become an effective and efficient Chief Secretary.
It is a well-known fact that neither the UPA government at the Center nor the nda government has been following the same tradition since the formation of the state of Mizoram. Moreover, Shaku Mizoram cm once again reminded us that they are a loyal partner to nda from the very beginning.
'I am one of the loyal partners of the nda in the Northeast from the beginning to the present. If my proposal is rejected, congress and all other opposition parties will ridicule me for my faithful service to the NDA. Therefore, I wholeheartedly request you to amend the orders and please accept my proposal. '
