Speaking on the occasion, Higher education minister Ponmudi said there were a large number of female poets during the Sangam period. In the aftermath of the cultural invasion, the education of women has been blocked and people dint allow them to shine. Nowadays again women are starting to grow and shine more independently. More female students get graduation than male students. Sangam period is back again. There is only a bilingual policy in tamil Nadu and the governor should support the bilingual policy. students can learn the third language of their choice if they wish, but should not be forced to learn a third language. ”
