He said he would not be surprised if the country achieved double-digit growth. He urged FICCI officials to further strengthen the manufacturing sector in the country to reduce imports. He said the central government was taking big steps in this regard.
He said it was to their advantage that not a single allegation of corruption had been levelled against the central government since 2014.
There may have been some wrong decisions on the part of the centre. But he said even critics would confirm that the country has witnessed major changes in seven years.
