Japanese PM begs people to drink more milk

Japanese health officials in the Japanese parliament '' Excess milk tonnes are being wasted this winter. Currently, 5,000 tons of green milk can be wasted. The demand for this has grown rapidly as a result of recent corporate scandals. japan President Fumio Kishida asks the Japanese population to drink an extra cup of milk and also make use of the dairy products in their everyday life. To set an example, Japanese farm ministers Genjiro Kaneko and Yuriko Koike, tokyo Governor drank a cup of milk at a news conference which was held on 17th december 2021.
In this regard, the prime minister of japan Fumio Kishida said that to prevent wastage of milk in the daily diet you should drink a cup of milk more than usual. In addition, people should cooperate in the use of dairy products in cooking, ”he said 
Japanese dairy farmers have promised to buy an extra liter of milk daily from december 25 to january 3.
Also, they are focusing on their efforts using the hashtag # 1L per day on social media. Consequently, Convenience stores are offering a 50 percent discount on hot milk cups on december 31st and New Year’s Day.
