For the first time, this happens in Republic day Parade..?

A senior police official had said that on Republic day in India's capital Delhi, usually, the Parade happens at 10 am. But this time it will be starting only at 10.30 am. This is the first time in 75 years, the Republic Day parade will not happen at 10 a.m. which is the usual time. A senior police official said the Republic Day celebrations are set to start late due to covid-19 restrictions and also due to respect to kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>jammu and kashmir security personnel.
He said this time delay is due to restrictions which are been related to corona infections and that tributes would be paid to the deceased security personnel in kashmir - SRINAGAR/JAMMU' target='_blank' title='jammu and kashmir-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>jammu and kashmir before the start of the month March. He said that the parade will last for around 90 minutes which was the same as last year.

Prime minister Narendra Modi will pay homage at the National war Memorial near the india Gate. After that only, the parade will be started. No foreign chief guests will be allowed following like last year due to covid-19 restrictions. Also, artists who are performing in the celebrations, will be allowed in sanitized vehicles and also be isolated due to corona spread.
