Although he got good marks in the Intermediate Public Examinations in Andhra Pradesh, he felt that he had missed out on medicine due to NEET. The cm explained to the student that there were legal battles for the cancelation of the NEET.
He also said that the voice was being heard at the national level. stalin advised the student to return home confidently.
Meanwhile, the supreme court on friday allowed the resumption of counselling for NEET, PG and UG courses for the 2021-22 academic year as per the existing reservation rules on january 7.
The reservation quota was 27 per cent for OBC and 10 per cent for EWS. The supreme court also decided to look into the validity of the criteria set by the Pandey Committee on EWS. The supreme court will hear the list of petitions filed in this regard in march this year.

The bench comprising supreme court Justice Dy Chandrachud and Justice AS Bopanna heard the arguments for two days. Orders were issued on january 7 after hearing these arguments.
EWS has allowed those with an annual income of Rs 8 lakh per annum to identify beneficiaries. The high court will hold a detailed hearing on the EWS reservation and identity criteria.
These admissions are subject to the final judgment of the supreme Court. The central government has asked the apex court to maintain the existing criteria for identifying EWS beneficiaries in the previous week as well as in the previous week.
The Center has brought some amendments in the case of beneficiaries under EWS.
