Sri Lanka facing a historic economic crisis...


Sri Lanka is going through difficult circumstances at the moment, buried under the debt of China. There is also a shortage of rations and essential things in the country. There has also been a severe shortage of rations and essential medicines. The reason for Sri Lanka's plight is the incalculable debt taken from China.


India and sri lanka signed a loan agreement worth one billion dollars last month. After this agreement, 40,000 metric tonnes of rice and diesel are also being helped. This will be the first major food aid after the loan agreement. With indian help, the Sri Lankan government will be able to reduce the price of rice, which had doubled last year. Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has declared a state of emergency amid ongoing protests across the country over serious economic crises. A nationwide state of emergency is to be imposed in Sri Lanka.
