Russia, which has stepped up its invasion in eastern
ukraine in more than six weeks of the war, has acknowledged significant casualties. Speaking on the occasion, the Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that they have significant casualties from the troops, which is a great tragedy for them. More than 4 million
people have fled abroad due to the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine. Also, thousands of
people have been killed and injured. Cities in
ukraine are crumbling.
As a result, many countries around the world, including the
united states, the
european union, Canada, and Japan, have imposed various sanctions on Russia. In this context, the United Nations General
assembly has suspended
russia from the UN Human Rights Council.
Russia's
prime minister Mikhail Michustin has said that
russia is facing a difficult economic situation due to Western sanctions. Moreover,
russia has already acknowledged that it has not advanced as quickly as it would in the invasion of Ukraine.
