Pakistan parliament proceedings adjourned, voting on a no-confidence motion after 1 pm



Imran Khan is going to be officially ousted from the power of pakistan today.


Voting is going to take place in the National assembly of pakistan today on the no-trust vote against Imran Khan. Imran Khan's government is about to be out of power during the voting on the no-confidence motion. The Speaker has adjourned the proceedings in the Pakistani Parliament. Now after 1 pm, there will be proceedings in the house again. After 1 pm, imran khan will data-face the vote of the no-confidence motion.



Proceedings had started in the Pakistani parliament for voting on the no-confidence motion against Imran Khan's government, but imran khan did not reach the Parliament. In the 342-member Pakistani parliament, imran khan will need 172 members to prove his majority in the house, but he does not have enough numbers. imran khan is about to become the first prime minister of pakistan to be ousted from power through a no-confidence motion.

Tight security arrangements have been made in Islamabad to avoid any kind of political uproar. A red zone has been put around the Parliament. More than 3000 security has been kept in the red zone. Entry is being given into parliament from the same gate.

To oust imran khan from the power of pakistan, the opposition needs the support of 172 MPs. Right now the majority is neither with imran khan nor with the opposition. imran khan is alleging that his MPs are being held hostage by opposition leaders.
