According to FiveThirtyEight's most recent analysis, Democrats have a small advantage in keeping control of the Senate. Even as late as July 25, the same analysis had the GOP as the favourite to capture the Senate. Although Democrats remain in with a chance of pulling off an unexpected victory and keeping both chambers of congress with two months to go until the midterm elections, Republicans have remained the favourites to regain the house of Representatives.
