The PFI members made an attempt to attack on Modi

The National Investigative Agency (NIA) recently revealed that the Popular Front of india had conspired to assassinate prime minister Narendra Modi during his visit to patna city in the state of Bihar. This matter came to light in the recent raids by NIA ED on PFI offices and houses of leaders. During the visit of prime minister Modi to patna in July this year, the PFI members made an unsuccessful attempt to attack.

It was revealed that PFI had also trained several activists to attack the Prime Minister. It has been revealed that PFI has also prepared lethal weapons to attack the prime minister and many prominent people in UP. NIA EDs conducted nationwide searches in 15 states and arrested 100 people. The NIA claimed that PFI leader Shafiq Pait had hatched a plan to assassinate prime minister Modi during a bjp rally in patna on July 12 this year. In the searches conducted by the Enforcement Directorate, it has been found that more than Rs.120 crores have been deposited in the accounts of PFI-related organizations in the last few years.

Investigation revealed that PFI members had gone to hathras with the intention of disturbing communal harmony, it said. Central agencies have also received evidence of the involvement of PFI by its members in inciting communal riots, creating terror, planning the formation of terrorist gangs, death wars, collecting explosives, and simultaneous attacks at sensitive locations. In another case, the NIA got evidence that members of the PFI were trained to create disturbances during prime minister Narendra Modi's visit. It is noteworthy that the NIA sources have mentioned that the Union home Ministry is planning to ban the PFI activities along with monitoring the PFI activities.
