Knew woman was trapped under car, didn’t stop because.. Accused tell Cops
The suspects admitted to the police that they knew a lady was stuck under a car but continued to drive the car out of fear in the Kanjhawala case, in which a woman was carried for several kilometres by a car that struck her scooter. The vehicle made many U-turns in the Kanjhawala neighbourhood of Delhi, dragging the woman from Sultanpuri as it did so.
According to authorities, the defendants were aware that if they had stopped the automobile and saved the woman, a murder case would have been brought against them. Anjali's naked body was discovered in Delhi's Kanjhawala neighbourhood on the eve of the new year after being pulled by a speeding car from Sultanpuri.
Police claim that the defendants were so terrified that they continued to drive even after the woman's body had fallen off. The accused previously claimed to authorities that the car's loud music prevented them from hearing the body and caused them to flee the scene when they realised what had happened. However, they have now admitted that it was all a lie. A 20-year-old lady died in the early hours of january 1 after being dragged by a car for around 12 kilometres.
