Leader of the Y.S.R. telangana party (YSRTP), Y. S. Sharmila, sent chief minister K. chandrasekhar Rao a truck full of crops that had been damaged on tuesday to attract his attention to the losses experienced by farmers in numerous telangana districts as a result of the unseasonably wet weather. She claimed that the most recent rains dealt the farmers huge losses and dealt a severe blow to their aspirations for a bumper crop.

The leader of the ysr telangana party showed the truck to the media and stated that her party is delivering kcr this cargo of damaged crops so that, at the very least during the election year, he will awaken from his "deep slumber" and provide farmers with fair recompense.

According to Sharmila, the estimated crop loss as a result of the unseasonal rains is 10 lakh acres, yet not a single official or mla has visited the farmers to assess the damage. "It is a sad that the farmers had to obtain loans at high interest rates and sell their spouses' jewellery for crops while they are all busy taking pictures in the newly erected Secretariat, which cost Rs 1600 crore. Farmers' tears are on this truck, she remarked.

According to the YSRTP leader, crop losses over the past nine years have been estimated to total more than Rs 14,000 crores, yet this "reckless" government has no idea what crop insurance is. "At the very least, the government ought to provide compensation when there is no crop insurance. kcr offered Rs 10,000 per acre, which is negligible given the drastically increased cost of inputs, the speaker claimed.
