According to Transport minister Puvvada ajay Kumar, the State government has been making efforts to upgrade the road system in rural areas of the State. Along with Yellandu mla B haripriya Naik, he visited the Kamepalli mandal in the district and lay the cornerstones for numerous roads totaling Rs 40 crore. The minister officially opened the internal roads that were constructed at a cost of Rs 16.24 crores. The mandal's residents expressed their happiness at the beginning of development activities worth Rs. 40 crores in a single day.
Ajay Kumar, speaking at the event, stated that the telangana government has been spending thousands of crores of rupees on welfare and development initiatives. Infrastructure development for people's convenience has received special attention. He highlighted that projects including road widening, internal road development, the provision of potable water to every family, tank beautification, and canal construction have been carried out throughout the State.
The district's smaller towns and villages all have side drainage and central lighting. It demonstrates the government's dedication to rural development. According to the minister, the Palle Pattana pragathi scheme has altered the appearance of the towns and villages.
Ajay Kumar gave out pattas of house sites to the citizens of khammam city's ninth division later in the day. These sites had been regularised under GO 58 and 59. Many people throughout the State have benefited from the GOs issued by the BRS government for the regularisation of lands under LRS, he claimed.
