Reddy stated that the junior Panchayat Secretaries were appointed after finishing their three-year probationary period on april 11, 2022, and were anticipating regularisation in an open letter to chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Wednesday. However, the probationary period would be prolonged by an additional year, the chief minister stated in the Assembly. The government's failure to decide on regularisation despite the extended period's completion on april 11 prompted the secretaries to go on strike.
