Karnataka Elections: 144 imposed today in Bengaluru..!?
Traffic restrictions are in force in Bengaluru today ahead of the counting of votes for the karnataka Assembly elections 2023. In order to avoid any untoward incident, the Bengaluru police have relaxed the restrictions on the counting day and the sale of liquor has been banned. The counting of votes for the recently concluded karnataka elections will take place today. The counting of votes will begin at 8 am. In view of this, Bengaluru City police has announced traffic changes for various parts of the city.
Bengaluru police said that 144 Prohibitory Orders has been issued across Bengaluru on saturday to prevent any untoward incident on the counting day of the karnataka assembly elections. Prohibitory Order 144 will be in force across the district from 6 am on saturday to midnight on Sunday.
The sale of alcohol has been banned in the Bengaluru police commissioner area. In addition to the precautionary measures, the armed forces will be put on alert from the morning of May 13 to the morning of May 14.
