The villages inside the hmda data-borders and the city of hyderabad were no longer reliant on the two water sources. The Godavari, Krishna, and Manjeera rivers provided the majority of the water for the city and the surrounding areas. Additionally, the State government decided to repeal GO No. 111, which the residents of the 84 villages had long demanded.
