Why delay in giving green card to Indians..?
From the 2K kids who joined the workforce today to the 90s kids who joined the workforce 10 years ago, everyone is passionate about life in America. Especially if they go to the united states, 99 percent of people will have the idea of getting citizenship in that country. But the main thing that scares indians in buying a green card in the united states is the waiting period. The waiting period is 10-15 years if you meet sufficient qualifications to become a citizen of the united states and submit an application. A US government official has explained what is the reason for this terrible waiting period. Is this waiting period only for indians almost all countries have this situation. But the excessive number of green card applications by people from india has created additional waiting periods.
Beyond this, there is a restriction of issuing a maximum of 7 percent of the total number of green cards per country per year. This means that only 25,620 green cards will be issued to india on a family basis and employment basis per year. Douglas Rand said that this rule also applies to the countries of the world. Excessive green card application and a 7 percent annual restriction is the reason why the waiting period for green card applications for indians is continuously increasing.
