The lowest recorded temperature was 31 degrees Celsius.

In order to assist the injured in the railway catastrophe that left 288 persons dead and over 1,000 injured, ten ambulances from andhra pradesh landed in Balasore. Nazeer, the district manager of (108) Ambulance services in Srikakulam, said that chief minister YS jagan Mohan reddy had given the ambulances instructions to assist in transferring the injured to other hospitals.
