Meanwhile, reports said that smuggled timber was being bought in the former warangal area. A single six-foot long by six-inch broad log was reportedly being sold by timber traffickers for between Rs 5,000 and Rs 6,000, when the same log would generally cost between Rs 2,500 and Rs 3,200 for them in maharashtra and chhattisgarh States.
