Telangana BJP’s internal turmoil - Nadda summons Kishan Reddy to Delhi
In addition to inviting former mla Komatireddy Rajgopal reddy and huzurabad mla Eatala Rajender to delhi on Friday, bjp national president jp nadda also requested that Union Tourism minister g kishan reddy travel immediately to the national capital on saturday to conduct talks.
Rajender and Rajgopal reddy had been at odds with Sanjay ever since they joined the party. They even brought their disagreements to the attention of the party's top command, but little changed because Sanjay enjoyed the support of prime minister Narendra Modi and Union home minister amit Shah. The Eatala group requested that Sanjay be replaced with him by the party's high command, but the leadership did not take their request into account.
According to information obtained, neither leader attended the BJP's mass contact event on june 22 in the State. Sanjay is attempting to put on a brave data-face and portray the party as being in good spirits in the meanwhile. When questioned about the intentions of certain bjp officials to defect to the Congress, he responded, "We can't stop if anybody wants to board a sinking ship.
