Earlier, a similar hijab-related controversy was raised in a school, as reported by Times Now. There, a Muslim student involved in the Student police Cadet Program had requested an exemption from wearing hijab and long-sleeved clothing. The student filed a petition in the kerala high court seeking to fulfill this demand, but the high court rejected the petition.
