26000 Crores Outer Rail Ring Road to come up in Telangana
The Outer Ring rail (ORR) project in telangana will soon get underway, according to G Kishan Reddy, mp for secunderabad and Union minister for tourism and culture. According to Kishan Reddy, telangana was picked by the central for the initiative, which is the first of its type in the nation.
"The project exercise has already started at the Railways. The 350 km long Regional Ring Road (RRR), which connects many telangana districts, and the planned Outer Ring rail construction will start at the same time. For the ORR (railway) project survey, the Centre has allotted Rs 14 crore, he added. "The residents of hyderabad and the adjacent regions will gain significantly if the Outer Ring rail project is made accessible concurrently with the RRR. According to Kishan Reddy, junctions would be built in various locations as part of this project by linking them to railway lines from Vijayawada, Guntur, Nizamabad, Medak, Mumbai, and Vikarabad.

He said that people using these routes will be able to exit at the outer ring road without entering hyderabad and then proceed by road or train to their intended destinations. He said that the Outer Ring rail project will benefit both the transportation and economic fields. According to Kishan Reddy, the estimated cost of implementing the Outer Ring rail project is Rs 26,000 crore.
He said that the details of the project had previously been reviewed with the state administration and that the route map preparations had been completed to a 99 percent level. According to the Union minister, the state government has allocated out Rs 500 crore for land purchase, and the federal government would cover 50% of the cost.
According to Kishan Reddy, the railway board has approved moving on with the MMTS phase 2 expansion between Ghatkesar and Rayagiri. He said that the state government had not approved a budget for the project even after eight years.
The second phase of the MMTS extension, which would cost Rs 330 crore, will be accelerated despite the state government's opposition, according to prime minister Narendra Modi's directive to Railways minister Ashwin Vaishnaw. The Union minister promised that the extension would only be finished using railway funding.
