Bodhan MLA claims ‘larger conspiracy’ to eliminate him
Shakil Aamir Mohammed, the leader of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and an mla for bodhan, asserted that the AIMIM employees who were recently detained for 'attempting to assassinate' the mla were a part of a larger criminal organisation. He claimed that the assailants had ties to terrorism in a video message that was made public on Thursday. He was reacting to the harassment claims made by the relatives of one of the accused.
"At the Eidgah, the father of one of the accused defendants declared his son's innocence on the occasion of Eid. According to the mla, two of the assailants were history sheeters who had previously attempted to murder people, harassed women, and attacked government officials. The FIR claims that Altaf and naveed had personal grievances against Shakil. mla Shakil calls on the state government and top police officers in the video statement to use the PD Act (Preventive Detention Act) against his assailants.
"There is an obvious plot to have me killed. According to mla Shakil, the party high command is being mislead by rumours that I am betraying the party. Asaduddin Owaisi, the president of the All india Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), declared in a statement on june 26 that his party "will teach a lesson" to mla Shakil in the next assembly elections.

He said that members of his party had questioned the bodhan mla about ongoing construction projects in his district. "Neither had they assaulted him nor used any foul words against him. Shakil Aamir will be held accountable in the forthcoming assembly elections. Using his influence and authority, he had the neighbourhood kid arrested. They must spend Eid al Adha in jail if they are denied bail, Owaisi has previously stated.
