Telangana - Multiple verification checks in place for Group-IV exam

SIBY JEYYA
For the Group-IV services recruiting exam set for this saturday, several verification measures have been put in place. The entry to the center will be frisked for candidates, and their admission tickets will be examined. The candidate's legitimate government-issued picture identification card and the photo on the admission ticket will then be cross-verified.

As soon as a candidate enters the examination room, their name and picture on the nominal roll will be compared to information on a government-issued photo ID card and their signature on the hall ticket. Finally, each applicant must attach his or her left thumb impression to the nominal roll at the conclusion of the exam. For both sessions, the applicants must go through this rigorous verification process.

TSPSC clears rumors on personalized OMR sheets

Although there are allegations on social media that the TSPSC has discontinued the personalized OMR sheet for the Group IV examination that had the candidate's roll number, name, and photo printed on it, authorities noted the Commission has not utilized such personalized OMR sheets since its foundation.

In actuality, such customized OMR sheets are not used by the top hiring body, the Union Public service Commission, which chooses applicants for the IAS, IPS, and other all-India jobs. Candidates taking a test for a job must bubble their qualifications on the OMR sheets.

‘Women candidates need not remove their traditional ornaments’

Candidates—especially women—appearing for the Group IV services recruitment test on saturday don't have to take off their traditional jewellery, such as their toe rings and mangalsutras. The TSPSC officials said that no directives prohibiting the use of traditional decorations in exam locations had been given to the centres.
