Nadda asks Telangana BJP leaders to pull up socks

For the approaching assembly elections, bharatiya janata party national president jp nadda has urged party officials in telangana to put their best foot forward. At a vital gathering of State presidents, organisational secretaries, and in-charges from 11 States held on sunday at the State bjp headquarters in this city, Nadda stated that it was past time for the party to start gearing up for the important assembly election.

According to reports, he said that the party leadership had changed the party's organisational structure in response to the demands of the State leaders; as a result, it was their responsibility to guarantee that the party does well in the next assembly and lok sabha elections. The party leader also threatened harsh punishment for individuals engaging in rivalry and anti-party actions. The party State heads were briefed by Nadda and the organization's national general secretary BL Santosh on the tactics to be used to build the party in each of their various States.

32 leaders, including the national office holders of the different States, attended the meeting, according to bjp sources. State election coordinator Prakash Javadekar, State chief G Kishan Reddy, and rajya sabha member K Laxman attended the meeting from Telangana. party district presidents and in-charges for the State will attend Monday's meeting of the bjp State unit's office bearers, which will also include office bearers. The agenda for the meeting will cover initiatives to pursue before the election.

In the 2019 elections, the bjp could only manage to gain 12 seats from these five Southern States, which together have 129 members in the Lok Sabha. The party only managed to win four seats in telangana and eight in Karnataka, while failing to win any seats in tamil Nadu or Kerala. Twenty lok sabha seats are available in Kerala, 25 in Andhra Pradesh, 39 in tamil Nadu, seventeen in telangana, and twenty-eight in Karnataka.
