Governor Good News for Telangana Government..!?
Governor Tamilisai has announced that pending bills passed by the telangana government will be cleared by July 15. Municipal and private university bills have been pending for some time now. Already, the dispute between the state governor, Tamilisai, and the telangana government is in the supreme Court. The state government has filed a petition in the supreme court alleging that the governor is delaying the passage of the bills. The Chief Secretary to the government filed the petition on behalf of the State Government. The Secretary to the governor and the Secretaries of the Union Law Department were included as respondents. The petition stated that the governor has kept all ten bills pending without approval.
She eventually passed three laws after the telangana government filed a petition in the supreme court, but sent two others back to the state government. The governor sent two bills to the President for her assent and kept the other three. There is no clarity on the bills approved by the governor, the bills sent back to the government and the bills sent to the Rashtrapati Bhavan. It is known that the government has approved telangana Forest university Bill, Jayashankar Agriculture university Amendment Bill, and telangana Women university Bill. It is reported that she has sent the Azamabad Industrial Area Amendment Bill and telangana Motor Vehicle Tax Amendment Bills to the President.
The government sources are also satisfied with the information that even the pending bills will be approved in five days. There is an opinion that the gap between the government and the governor has been reduced. Recently, the Governor's decision has become interesting amidst the political developments that bjp and BRS are not criticizing much.
