According to the information, cm arvind kejriwal has called this meeting to rescue people in the coastal areas and take them to safe places and to discuss the matter of distribution of relief materials. kejriwal told that the water level of yamuna is increasing and the flood situation is prevailing. The danger mark of yamuna in delhi is 205.33 meters and at present the water level of yamuna has reached 207.71 metres. The last time the water level of yamuna was this much in 1978. At that time the water level of yamuna was 207.49 metres.

CM arvind kejriwal appealed and said, 'I appeal to the people living near yamuna that you should move away from there as soon as possible. We are also getting the cooperation of the central government. delhi government is trying fast to control the whole situation. We have also asked the SDRF team to remain in reserve. Right now our priority is to save lives. It has not rained in delhi for the last 2-3 days. Water is entering delhi from himachal pradesh and Haryana. In this regard, I have also written a letter to the Union home minister amit shah requesting him to reduce the flow of water entering delhi, only then we can stop the yamuna river from overflowing. I request everyone to vacate their houses in low-lying areas.
