Telangana CM KCR orders regularization of PS and merger of VRAs

Chief minister K chandrasekhar Rao has directed that panchayat secretaries who have finished their four years of training be regularised, which is a big milestone. In accordance with their capabilities and educational backgrounds, the chief minister also announced the integration of village Revenue Assistants (VRAs) with other departments. The choice was decided at a top-level gathering held at the secretariat.


According to the new instruction, panchayat secretaries will be granted merit-based consideration for regularisation if they have achieved at least two-thirds of their assigned goals. To oversee the procedure, district-level committees have been formed per the Chief Minister's instructions. Shanti Kumari, the chief secretary, has been instructed to take the required actions to put the regularisation of panchayat secretaries into effect. sandeep Kumar Sultania, the Principal Secretary of panchayat Raj, and Hanumantha Rao, the Commissioner of panchayat Raj, have already started moving forward in compliance with the Chief Minister's directives.

The panchayat raj Secretaries were also given charge of rural sanitation and health projects. Numerous panchayat secretaries have demonstrated excellent competence in the planting and upkeep of plants, leading to laudable accomplishments throughout the state. The chief minister noted the significance of qualitative changes in villages and thanked various panchayats for receiving national honours. He also advised the panchayat secretaries to continue their hard work.

State ministers KT Rama Roa, jagadish Reddy, and Satyawati Rathore have constituted a cabinet subcommittee to help with the smooth integration of village Revenue Assistants with other ministries. Within a week, the committee will try to streamline the merging procedure. This effort by the state's chief minister, K. chandrasekhar Rao, is anticipated to improve the efficacy and efficiency of panchayat administration in the state, fostering improved governance and rural development.
