National President of Samajwadi party and former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh akhilesh yadav expressed concern over the news of the death of the eighth leopard in Madhya Pradesh's Kuno National Park. Died three days ago - Significantly, in Kuno National Park (KNP) of Madhya Pradesh, Suraj, a male cheetah brought from Africa, died on Friday. Forest officials gave this information in Bhopal. In this park of Sheopur district, the number of cheetahs who died since march this year has increased to eight. Tejas, the male cheetah brought from Africa had died in this park three days back. "Suraj, a male cheetah brought from south africa was found dead in the KNP," the official said.

After the death of Cheetah Tejas, the dead body was examined by the wildlife doctors of bhopal and Jabalpur. After this, Chief Conservator of Wildlife JS Chauhan had told that prima facie the probable cause of death of male cheetah tejas brought from south africa in Kuno National Park is traumatic shock. The autopsy was done on July 12 at the Wildlife Hospital in Palpur by three wildlife doctors posted in the Cheetah project, an expert from the school of Wildlife Forensic and health Jabalpur, besides a senior wildlife doctor from Van vihar National Park, Bhopal.
