chief minister arvind kejriwal held a review meeting on the latest flood situation in the national capital delhi on saturday evening. As per the latest information, many roads have been reopened due to receding flood water in Yamuna. Traffic movement is slowly resuming, while many routes in the national capital are still closed. At the same time, the delhi government informed that the yamuna water is decreasing at a speed of 5 cm. There are chances of getting relief till Sunday.


Earlier on Thursday, several roads were closed after the yamuna river rose to its highest ever level of 208.6 metres. On the other hand, according to the advisory issued by the traffic police on saturday, the water level of yamuna decreased to 207.67 meters at eight o'clock on saturday morning, due to which the water accumulated on the roads has reduced a bit. It said that restrictions on traffic movement were relaxed on some roads till 11 am, while some roads remained closed.

While giving information on the flood situation in delhi, AAP government minister Atishi Marlena said, 'ISBT and Bhairon Road are running smoothly. He told that, 'Metcalf house Road has also been reopened for traffic.'

CM kejriwal reviewed meeting - chief minister arvind kejriwal held a cabinet meeting on Saturday. He deputed ministers to the six flood-affected districts to ensure proper facilities in the relief camps set up by the delhi government. At the same time, delhi government's Irrigation and Flood Control minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said that an order will be issued soon to report to ministers for cooperation of officials to ensure proper facilities like food, water, toilets and electricity in relief camps.
