Ahead of Telangana assembly polls, ECI conducts training for booth-level officials

As part of its intensive preparations for the approaching elections, the election commission of india (ECI) has started thorough training programmes for booth-level officers throughout Telangana. 34,891 booth-level officers from 33 of the state's districts attended a training session in Hyderabad. The rigorous adherence to election commission norms was emphasised by Chief Electoral Officer Vikas Raj, who also emphasised the critical role that these employees play in ensuring transparent and fair voting.

Booth-level officials are in charge of overseeing every aspect of the polling place and are essential to the process of updating the voter list. The election commission has scheduled a training session for assembly-level master trainers on July 18 in recognition of their significance. From July 19 to July 25, district-specific training sessions will be held to provide the police with the skills and information they need.

Vikas raj emphasised the crucial role that electoral commission workers play in holding fair elections throughout his speech. He emphasised how important it is for authorities at the booth level to update and correct the voter list. These officers are in charge of conducting door-to-door reviews to add any extra eligible voters during the second round of the voters list modification.

The training sessions are designed to provide booth-level employees with the knowledge they need to do their jobs well and to assure their competency. The election commission is dedicated to maintaining the integrity of the telangana election process by providing them with the knowledge and abilities necessary for precise voter identification and the efficient operation of polling places.
