The karnataka state government has banned the use of mobile phones in all the temples of the state. The government has issued this order for all the temples that come under the Hindu Religious and Charitable Department. This order of the government has been implemented with immediate effect. Devotees data-face problems due to the use of mobile phones. The congress government, headed by chief minister Siddaramaiah, issued the mandate saying that the use of mobile phones in temples causes problems to other devotees and staff. It has been said in the mandate that all people should switch off their mobiles before entering the temple. As per the government orders, devotees as well as staff will not be allowed to carry phones inside the temples. If he keeps the phone with him, he has to keep it switched off.
