"Tamil Nadu is a leading state in providing world-class training facilities and infrastructure to athletes participating in national and international sports competitions. Sportsmen from tamil Nadu have been winning consecutively in various sports at the national and international levels due to the sports development initiatives taken by the tamil Nadu government.

Tamil Nadu views the current situation in Manipur, a state known for its prowess in sports, with great concern and anguish. Manipur has always championed national and international standards. It has produced female champions in particular. tamil Nadu has been selected as the state to host the Gallo india youth Games next year (2024).
