bjp is bringing its old allies together once again before the lok sabha elections. By bringing these parties together, the BJP's aim is to keep a hold on even small pockets where caste equations are dominant. For the 2024 lok sabha elections, the ruling bharatiya janata party is working to fulfill the target of winning all 80 seats in Uttar Pradesh. Recently Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj party (SBSP) chief Om Prakash Rajbhar returned to the national democratic alliance (NDA). On the other hand, Samajwadi party (SP) mla Dara Singh Chauhan from Ghosi in Mau district also resigned from Samajwadi party (SP) and joined BJP.

Under the leadership of PM Modi, the bjp is going to contest the third consecutive lok sabha elections. bjp has been winning elections in UP continuously from 2014 to 2022. cm Yogi has also taken oath as chief minister for the second time. Scholars of political science believe that the continuous winning of any party also becomes a 'threat' to it in every election. It is believed that in such a situation, situations like 'voters fatigue' ie 'boredom among voters' arise. Their expectations go up. The welfare measures taken by the present government are now proving insufficient and there is talk of a change in the minds of the voters. However, the bjp destroyed this equation in the 2019 lok sabha elections. But in that election, after the air strike in Balacourt, there was a wave of nationalism in the whole country, and the voters, forgetting all the other issues, gave a landslide victory to the BJP.
The second front is also of the new opposition alliance 'India'. In the 2019 elections, TMC, Samajwadi party, and JDU did not contest the elections together with the Congress. The direct benefit of this also reached the BJP. But this time if this alliance agrees to fight together, then there are many seats where bjp will have to face the joint candidate of the opposition. In such a situation, bjp will not get the benefit of the division of votes.
