Very Heavy Rainfall Warning issued for Telangana Hyderabad on Thursday - Downpour to last till Friday

According to a weather forecast warning from the telangana State Development Planning Society (TSDPS), hyderabad will see extremely heavy rain on thursday ranging from 115.60 mm to 204.40 mm, with the downpour predicted to linger till friday morning. However, the districts of Hanumakonda, Warangal, Mahabubabad, Khammam, and bhadradri Kothagudem are expected to get extremely high rainfall that will exceed even these estimates.

The city's reservoirs and streams have been filled by the nonstop rain over the last week, but some water bodies have overflowed, seriously disrupting transportation. Traffic was chaotic on wednesday morning in especially due to the significant water flow from the Nalla Cheruvu lake near Uppal. The inner ring road of the city was flooded near Uppal, which inconvenienced commuters and halted vehicle traffic. To control the situation and guarantee public safety, local law enforcement and traffic enforcement were on high alert.


The water levels in various water bodies have increased as a result of the heavy downpour that occurred tuesday evening, according to meteorological specialists. On wednesday morning, the situation marginally improved as the rain became lighter, although the rains continued until the evening with less intensity. Low-lying region residents have been urged to exercise caution and stay attentive. people have been asked by the telangana State Development Planning Society to stay inside during periods of heavy rain and to monitor weather updates.
