The officials are getting ready to open the gates of the sriram Sagar Project (SRSP) after the project saw large inflows as a result of the severe rains in Maharashtra, Nizamabad, and the surrounding districts.

The State made a new presentation on monday before the Expert Appraisal Committee (EAC) of the Ministry of Environment and Forests, addressing the environmental obstacles that prevented the implementation of the irrigation component under the Palamuru-Ranga reddy Lift Irrigation Scheme Stage-II.
