A maximum of 15 no-confidence motions were filed against Indira Gandhi. Indira gandhi was a rajya sabha MP when she initially took office as prime minister. In august 1966, Hirendranath Mukherjee, a cpi MP, introduced a motion against him. 270 MPs voted in favour of it, while 270 MPs voted against it. Following this, in november 1966, the Bharatiya Jana Sangh leaders attempted to have him removed from office by a resolution, but they were also unsuccessful. Additionally, Atal Vihari Vajpayee made an unsuccessful attempt to defeat him. In november 1967, february 1968, and november 1968, no-confidence motions were once more filed against Indira Gandhi. In addition to this, motions against him were filed in february 1969, July 1970, november 1973, and May 1974.

In december 1987, C. madhav reddy brought a resolution against Rajiv Gandhi's government, but he could not succeed. Then in July 1992, bjp leader Jaswant Singh brought a resolution against PV narasimha Rao. Voting on this took place on 17 July 1992. 225 MPs voted in favor of the proposal and 271 MPs voted against it.

 In the month of december this year, Atal Vihari Vajpayee brought a no-confidence motion against PV narasimha Rao. In this, after 21 hours of debate, 111 people voted in support of the proposal, while 336 MPs voted against it. After this again PV narasimha Rao had to data-face it in July 1993. Here also he wins and remains the PM.

Sonia gandhi brought no-confidence motion - Former congress president sonia gandhi brought a no-confidence motion against Atal Vihari Vajpayee. 189 MPs voted in its support while 314 voted against it. On the other hand, during the tenure of ten years of manmohan Singh, there was not even a single resolution brought against him.
