Telangana Cyberabad DCP Nitika Pant says Technology being used to track down traffickers
Locating Immoral Trafficking (Prevention) Act offenders and, if necessary, updating their residence address, contact information, and current activities are the goals of the human trafficking survey. It will assist in the AHTU and police station level monitoring of their actions.
Monitoring organisers from other States
Organisers of prostitution rings in other States are in contact with local organisers. Verifying local organisers' actions will send a clear message to those working from other States. Although the poll is conducted inside the jurisdiction of Cyberabad, it sends a signal to all organizers—regardless of where they reside—that we are serious about containing the problem.
Tracking prostitution rackets
We employ technology to find these individuals. Our IT cell, social media staff, and other departments use their resources to find them. Once their information is on file with us, no one can avoid being detected by the police. We locate them and set up watch over them. We work to stop unlawful actions.
Action against prostitution organised from rented buildings
The notification is sent to the property owner. We request that the property be locked off for up to a year in a letter to the local revenue authority. The neighbourhood police frequently patrol the area to see whether the rules are being broken.
Cases booked in the last one year
The Cyberabad AHTU began a significant crackdown on PITA organisers in october of last year. Big-time organisers from all throughout the nation were all detained. There have been 330 individuals detained and 110 cases booked since October. The workout will go on.
