Shaikh's good intentions changed to malice when the couple encountered financial difficulties and were unable to pay back the loan. He started bugging and threatening the couple and became increasingly aggressive in his demands for the unpaid debt.
In February, under the guise of resolving the financial issue, Shaikh enticed the couple to a remote location in the Hadapsar government colony. But instead of reaching a compromise and escalating his threats, he flashed a knife, making the spouse fear for his life. Sadly, Shaikh continued to rape the woman in front of her husband in callous and repugnant conduct, adding further anguish to an already terrible situation. He videotaped the terrible incident on his phone as an MMS (multimedia message) to further torture the victims, adding to the anguish.
After committing this heinous act of sexual assault, the defendant continued. He persisted in abusing the woman, regularly forcing her to perform sexual favors. He resorted to a terrible act of vengeance when the brave woman refused to submit to his demands. Shaikh made the decision to publicly humiliate the lady by sharing the rape footage on numerous social media channels, completely disregarding the repercussions.
After experiencing great anguish, the victim eventually found the fortitude to attend the Hadapsar police station and ask for justice.
