Telangana rains - NDRF teams rescue 70 people from floods in Bhupalpally, says CS Santhi Kumari

According to Chief Secretary A Santhi Kumari on Thursday, NDRF teams have saved 70 persons from floodwaters in Moranchapalle in the Jayashankar bhupalpally district. She said that military helicopters evacuated five people. It was suggested that anyone stranded on Bhopalapalli Road quickly escape to safer regions, notably the drivers and other workers trapped in the lorries. She forbade them from endangering their lives in order to protect the materials the vehicles were carrying.

The administration was making all necessary preparations to deliver food boxes via helicopters to everyone stuck in the flood-affected districts. In the community of Moranchapalle, there were ongoing rescue and relief efforts. The Chief Secretary urged citizens to aid in the rescue of individuals stuck in flood-affected regions rather than going into dangerous locations. She wished for young people to concentrate on helping those in the relief camps as well.

She claimed that individuals heading outside to see the flooding were becoming embroiled in unforeseen mishaps.
